I just got this mushroom today that my LFS received a few hours prior to me walking in... i asked what it was but since they didn't order it and it was delivered by a past employee as a frag the worker wasn't able to tell me exactly (since he wasnt there when it was brought in) ... I think it may be from Australia and I think it may be rather rare. But im not 100% sure. Thats why im asking you guys.
Any information is extremely appreciated.

Ok that helps too. I just since its still only a single bud I concidered it a mushroom? do you have any idea if its rare or not?

looks like prism favia not too rare usually goes about 10$ for a single eye.

shoot! I was hoping I struck something good here! none the less its pretty cool, anxious to see how it looks after a half year.

yea i just looked up the dragon soul favia... looks extremely similar.. it was the only eye my LFS had so i got it.... rare or not, im glad i did.

Dragon Soul or Prism favia, for sure. It is actually a Goniastrea, not a Favia. But do to the similarities it is referred to as one. Great coral and very hardy, be ware of its sweepers as it gets larger.

When i spot feed it a Mysis shrimp once a week its the coolest s*** i have ever seen.... i havnt seen any sweepers yet, but i do know if you put a shrimp on it, things happen within... its slow, but very cool.
