It's the medusa stage of a hydroid. They usually go away on their own.
 
Are they bad like a pest or a parasite???
In my experience they can be unsightly when you have a lot but don't bother anything. I normally only see them in the early stages of a tank and go away within a month or two. I had them when we set up a nano tank. By week 8 they were gone and never came back.
 
Will fish eat them are they edible or will they harm the fish??? Do they sting at all??? Then listen to a couple things on YouTube about them and they say some Sting and some don't but nobody says anything about fish eating them
 
Yeah I was just wondering if they'd be a decent food source? They are actually not growing in my display they're growing in my copepod tank which I also hatch brine shrimp in the same tank
