Can someone help me figure out what this is?

So I found this in my tank this morning. My first thought is that it was a piece of clam( since I feed clam on the half shell) but I don’t know why it’s pink. Not even sure if this would be the right place to ask, but does anyone have any clues?

My long nose butterfly stopped eating recently but is still alive, could this have anything to do with that?

That looks like those pieces of ginger they put in the gas station sushi.

Right? But it was in my tank floating on the sand and my family doesn’t eat sushi nor have we had anything like that near the tank. Just very odd

Do you have a picture that of it in the water? Does it open up? Kinda looks like a mushroom shriveled up

Doesn’t move? Maybe a discoma shroom? Have any red or pink ones

No unfortunately not, it doesn’t open up. It was as if a piece of clam was floating in the water, if it hadn’t have been pink I would have chocked it up to clam. I also have a FOWLR tank.

Possibly piece of clam with cyano covering it?
