Can someone help me ID these hair like strands... they started on the frag plug, and have made their way onto the rock... they seem to be individual brown hairs with either a blue or purple tip...I dip my corals with coral RX, but I don’t have a quarantine set up ( I know)... appreciate all help.

Hmm hard to tell from the pictures. Check at the website below and look at hydroids and turf/hair algae to compare pictures to what you have. I’m thinking it might be turf/hair algae that is dying off.
