I purchased this under the impression it is an acanthastrea. I am aware it doesnt look good in this pic and am seeking help. It seems it started showing its skeleton as soon as i fed it reef roids which doesnt make sense. My water parameters are in check and im tbinking it may possibly be my radion leds being to bright? Need to buy a par meter. Well any identification would help. Thanks

Wow that is crazy. Very odd. Is there a chance the Trachy killed it?

Looks like a scoly that is knocking on deaths door. Maybe has already gone through the threshold.

Im feeding it now. I noticed it had a lot of slime coming off ot yesterday which im thinking may be zoantheli. Could that be a light issue?

I would suggest it is past the point of help and feeding. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

That’s pretty quick for a coral to go downhill. More investigation required. Looks a lot like my corals that have attacked each other In the past.

They arent too close... it was slim8ng up yesterday after feeding and has looked like this since

Oh my goodness, this looks like it is rotting. Reminds me of when I received dying Hammers (didn't make it through shipment) and you can see its stringy decaying flesh hanging of the skeleton.

Thats looks like its rotting, id probly toss it before the brown jelly stuff moves to another coral, or it causes some weird infection in the tank
