Can someone help me identify this please?

These white things exploded all over my tank on the live rock and filter. I also have this tube looking thing on my coral that pops in and fans out. Is the second photo a tube worm? Overall are both of these things bad for my tank? Thank you in advance.

Those are "pineapple" sponges in the first picture. The second one is just a harmless feather duster.
