Green hair algae?

Flucnazole is a treatment for algae outbreaks. I'm pretty sure it won't hurt the affect the fish .

Fluconazole will treat bryopsis. Looks like what you have could be bryopsis but we would need a clear close up to be sure.

The tank looks fairly new. Algae. Blooms will comeand go as the tank matures, this is normal.

+1 bryopsis and fluconazole works wonders on the stuff!

Agree that it looks like bryopsis.
An alternative approach would be to buy a bunch of elysia sea slugs and let them go to work. They love bryopsis.

I think hes asking if the lion fish will eat the snails. No it wont...especially something as big as a mexican turbo snail. Things can be the size of a golfball.

Just adding a Reef Flux / Fluconazole success story. I caught it early and that stuff turned it all white in a couple days. Haven't seen a trace of it since.

Edit: I also agree with Bryopsis as it looks very similar to what I had.
