Can someone help me with a possibly sick cinnamon clown?

Hi everyone looking over the forum this seemed like a good one to join and pick all of your brains. I obtained a mated pair of cinnamon clowns and when I got them home I was frantic to get them into some O2 rich water. They were in 71 degree water when I began acclimating them. When I checked the SG it was high...speaking of the water they came in. Salinity was nearly forty, they did not look to good. Over 4 hours I adjusted tem to a salinity of 34 and brought them slowly up to a temp of 79 (I figured that was about right since they were breeding)?
Now, I put them in the -new, uncycled- aquarium at 6 pm. with the water they came in figuring the bacteria would be good since I was having to get them to safety so fast all i used was de-chlorinated tap water and instant ocean salt. They were eating at midnight now today I have noticed they are not as active I know my heater is not up to par but the temp is not dropping below 74 still safe? Salinity same just checked.
I breed african cixhlids and have always wanted a marine aquarium...now I'm out of my league. The female is breathing rapidly male lethargic I cut the line off of one my air pumps and put it in the tank to see if surface disturbance would increase O2 levels and help. Worked wonders but the female now has a white film over her head and one eye what could this be? With the pump she is still more active than before though what should I do? I have not checked but I didn't think ammonia or nitrates would be an issue this early any help appreciated thanks in advance. Also what is the post polls about?

Well, all stores are closed right now but without a dought this is what she has can this easily spread to my male?
Without Formalin (which I have never used for any of my African cichlids and am not familiar with) can i use the well established water from one of my freshwater breeding tanks? I really hate using tap water and my freshwater tanks are very VERY healthy but then I would say they are actually kind of brackish since I keep the water on the hard side 10dB what do you think?

so forgive me I'm not a photographer and these guys are moving around fast this morning, but it does capture the white s

ilk around the eyes really well and its on the other side of the head also. These fish were given to me and I didn't notice anything like this for the first 48 hours or so. The tank is very bare its just a 5 gallon holding tank until I get another set up. Does anyone with more experience know what to do Am I going to loose these fish possibly?
I must be doing something wrong with all the knowledge I have with freshwater fish I am like a suckling helpless baby when it comes to this. I hope someone can tell me how to treat them please the air line I put in last night helped but I'm wondering if I shouldn't just use this bare 5 gal tank as a quarantine tank what do you all think?

!!! Welcome to R2R !!! Hope you can save those clowns. Do you have a RODI system. Better will be if is the water has 0 tds and salinity @ 1.022-1.025 for fish only. They will need an stable water. Also some kind of bacteria in the bottle like Dr.Tim or Seachem Stability will help. Do you have an full picture of your tank? Thanks

Yes changed water with RODI that added instant ocean salt to this morning as soon as the store opened and I already had Seachem Stability also added. Thank you for you advice I have it stabilized (hard to with a small 5) at 1.023 and I can honestly say o tds is what I'm showing. I did not purchase these fish the man who gave them to me was going to get rid of them I couldn't have that however was unprepared for taking in marine life o got this little starter tank and am getting the fiftyfive ready quick as I have rock that will for in it and I be live they will be much more comfortable. Can temperature fluctuation of about three degrees cause an illness in this species or could this possibly be something that was precipitated before I obtained them and is just now show only in the female though. She's also full of eggs. They are eating and after I added my power head from another tank (well cleaned ) the O2 increase seems to have helped. Since the fish is actually showing signs of getting better as this came on very fast I would like to know what it could be. At 3 or 4 am I knew I needed to get the water oxygenated more so I cut my air line from a nearby tank-the lengthy that was not submerged- and just stuck it in the water at mid night pointing it upward and taped it in place. Her rapid breathing quickly subsided. And now the white on her head is gone its still on her eyes though and that concerns me. I would hate to move a sick fish into my main tank should I move the male and quarantine her?

Small variation will occur on temp but 1 or 2 degree but try to avoid bigger variation cus that can cause stress on fish.

Well I'm keeping you informed of the progress and they are really much much better. I got 7 lbs of cured live rock for now just to help a little. I changed the medication to a product I'm not at home now but I believe it is IMAGITARIUM PARASITE( ill check and make sure that's correct) that didn't cloud the water so bad. I'm positive it was the first stuff ARTEMISS MICROBE LIFT, I've used it a lot and it always does that but when the female showed good progress I switched because for some reason in the past when I have used that med it was bad on coral and has caused a green algae outbreak. Not that I have coral but this is a really cool piece of live rock good full of coraline algae and I didn't want it to gut fuzz all over it.
Came with a tiny peppermint shrimp too didn't know that until early early this morning.
I was given some good advice to use a drip. So that's what i have done mixed up water same parameters dropped in a heater for good measure (Mabry not necessary but I could so I did) and now I have a steady drip in and out. Using airline with paperclips.
When I first brought them home they had an appetite. They were exhibiting mating ritual, then they got sick. I did see some white on the males tail fin I hadn't noticed before.
After that would not even eat a bloodwork or live brine. So before I left this morning I had to give them some food and I had to try a variety until I found something. They ate chopped krill and a small very small as I don't want to skyrocket the ammonia of nutridiet Marine...I don't like to use flake though.
I looked in on the setup one more time before I left to make sure I wouldn't flood my study and I saw them exhibiting the same mating behaviour. Water tests good. But am very surprised They are lively again so soon. I really thought even with all the effort it was a coin toss for the female. But she was happy and picking away at something she found in the rock.
I feel like I should keep them isolated still for a bit but this is a miraculously fast recovery. Damsels...I wouldn't be so shocked but i have not seen any other marine fish get so sick so fast and then recover in a non cycled 5 gallon. It really was the best I could do at the time. 24 hours ago I figured at best she might survive and be blind as her left eye not only was a cotton ball but bulging.
This morning I wouldn't know anything was ever wrong except for the room looks like a hospital now.
I kept a close watch on it and had to to keep the water from fluctuating in EVERY WAY POSSIBLE. But seems to have paid off. I'm glad I took them in.

Well since the fish are on the mend im focusing on building the stand gonna DIY all the way, lights next. I thought I posted a picture and description of my stand in a build thread.
Apparently in was confused as to what the build thread was.
