I just added a t5 hybrid so now when it comes on I can actually see things I haven't seen before lol

LOL. I just took a scalpel to one in my tank. It lost some weight, but it's by no means dead. I'm not exactly sure how you kill them!

Yes u need to probably remove that rock and scrape it real well or starve it of phosphates thx

Is there a texture difference between tunicates and sponges? My "sponge" that I attempted to dismember may have had siphon tubes.

If it's got a tube, I'd try to inject it with kalk paste or Aiptasia X first

There's really no need to kill it, it's a filter feeder and will fluctuate on the amount of organics in your system

Mine seem to only fluctuate in the direction of increasing size! It was actually getting so large that it was overshadowing a nearby goniastrea colony, so I had to trim it.
