Newly placed and was inspected by my peppermint shrimp upon entry. It wasn't very happy after. Did great while being acclimatized until the I put it in and the shrimp came. Lolfirst one is star polyps, the second is a VERY upset alveopora![]()
Alveopora loves same conditions as hammer (if you have that). Enough flow to make the tentacles sway back and forth gently and medium light (around 100-150ish par). Star polyps would live in the toilet if you let them lolThank you guys!! I can now look into how to best care for these 2 now.![]()
+1 Also based on experience, gsp or any other star polyps appreciate medium to high flow. They encrust faster and thicker with higher flow.I would put the gsp on the sand bed as a separate island unless you want them everywhere.
