They were hitch hitchers on some live rock and I have no clue what they are. Thanks!

Trade names.....Epoxy putty over those before they take over your rockwork. They grow really fast and you may not like having them down the road. Up to you, to each their own.
Curious why people call those Nuclear Greens, they are green button palys.
Trade names.....
Google it then tell me how many sites sell them as nuclear green palys and how many sites sell them as green button palys or polyps.
Surprised it hasnt gotten a different name by now in this hobby.

We also can start calling them limu-make-o-hana again.
which translates to seaweed of death from hana. Lol.
I could definately agree there.LOL, yes we should call these "Seaweed of Death". Much better name.
Just because they come up in Google doesn't mean that is right. Nuclear Greens, that got the trade name and are what zoanthid collectors would call them, wouldn't be the type that was posted. I'm sure others would agree. Nuclear Greens, the ones that deserve a name, are solid neon green similar to Purple Death , or Red Death palys.
If anything its scammy by those other sites or reefers to list them as such, when they don't come close to actual Nuclear Green palys.
We have to break the cycle!I could definately agree there.
I do know the difference between the two but just posting with whats widely accepted in the hobby now days.
Theyre all "nuclear green palys" as far as most are concerned. Including the scammy sellers lol.

GREEN BUTTON POLYPS!They were hitch hitchers on some live rock and I have no clue what they are. Thanks!

Thanks!Nuclear green palys but closed up a little.
Be careful. Theyre the more toxic variety. Use gloves and goggles with adequate ventilation when handling them.
thanks!GREEN BUTTON POLYPS!
Im relatively new to zoas... what do you mean about the putty?Epoxy putty over those before they take over your rockwork. They grow really fast and you may not like having them down the road. Up to you, to each their own.

Ah I honestly dont mind because my tank is a FOWLR. In the 5 or 6 months I have had them they have only grown 2 new headsThose just grow really fast, so now would be time to get rid of them if you want to. Not that they are bad looking, they will just overtake lots of other more desirable corals.
Kalk paste over them then a big chunk of 2 part epoxy putty over the top of that.
