Can someone ID these

Do you have a picture of what you put in there? I believe The lettuce is still rather wavy when young. I can't say they never look like yours, however, I just have not seen them appear as such.

Yours reminds me of a Elysia obtusa. Not to say it's that particular species, but it gives you idea of some of the similarities.

See how pale the "innards" are in yours compared the one one below it. That's what I mean by they look like they are starving. That usually means they haven't eaten a suitable algae in awhile. Evidently some of these guys can live up to 4 months without food, until their stores are used up.

well i just looked again at his tank since I got up in middle of night... and well there's about 4-5 more in the tank...
I don't know how these would have got in there. I dip everything that goes in the tank...
I did drop about 8-10 algea pellets in the plasti container we have them in. Bf said he thinks 1 or 2 might actually be eating the pellets.
I'll let ya know when I see it for myself...lol
the pellets are from hikari we got them from a grab bag freebie from a frag show...eheheh

They eat Caulerpa, BTW and do seem to be lacking food by their color. They should be green.

I'm finally adding content to the hitchikers guide (besides pictures) and am spending time fact checking. I was originally under the impression the color of these guys was due to starvation, as I said above. It's not. Some species are yellow, like the Elysia obtusa. I just wanted to correct that in case someone were to be reading this in the future.
