This little white guy popped up under my leather out of nowhere. It looks harmless but I would like to know what it is. Any help is appreciated.

It looks like a pineapple sponge, they are harmless filter feeders. See you have some vermatid snails as well which can irritate corals with their net o' mucus.

It sure looks like a pinapple lol. I only have turbo snails, are they the same, not to sound stupid.

Vermatid snails are a hitchhiker on livestock. Like your sponge. They are about 1/4 inch. I had them in my 90 when it was up. They didn't seem to bother my soft corals but, like everything else. Keep an eye on them and make sure nothing is being hurt.

Also thinking a type of sponge, but it is difficult to tell from photos.. At the very least I do not feel that it is anything harmful..

Search the web for vermatid snails and pineapple sponge, you will find a wealth of info & pix
