Can someone ID the green thing next to the mummy eye chalice, it looks like it’s popped up overnight! Photos attached below

That’s the only shot I can get without the glass warping unfortunately( should I remove it or just see how it goes?

Probably better safe than sorry, I'd cut it off and put it on a plug. Im 80% sure it's not anything that will explode in your tank and be a nuisance. I could be wrong though, wait for someone else to chime in.

I hear you with the glass but I always try to shoot with camera parallel to the glass to avoid that distortion. Just me 2 cents
