I was on my dock today and saw 3 cool looking fishes swimming in a school so i netted them, acclimated them, and put them in a fish cage in my tank. I have no idea what they are or even if it’s their juvenile or adult form. One looks a little different from the other two presumably because he’s older. I live in Florida and their saltwater fish so hopefully that narrows it down. Thanks for any help.

Maybe a black grouper (Black Grouper, Mycteroperca bonaci) for the darker one? (Better pics would help, I can’t even tell the shape of the tail from your pics).

I don’t know either, but from what I can see it looks like some sort of bass or grouper to me. None of the species I looked at looked quite right though (some of them are fairly close, like the black grouper mentioned above, but not quite there). It could possibly be a tautog too, which could explain the color difference (juveniles are greenish and transition to more brownish), but again I’m not sure.

Definitely need better pictures the pattern on the black and white one could be a juvenile goliath grouper. The mouth from what I can see doesn't look like one however. You'll be able to get an id with a clearer photo in tank under white light.

Could it be this?
