I just noticed this growing at the bottom of me cup coral, any idea what this is?

A type of clove polyp in belive.
Can be a bit invasive. Good for an isolated rock.

Slim chance it's a baby leather coming in
 
That's amazing! The rock I used was on a pallet outside for two years.
And all the corals I have were in quarantine for 75 days yet organisms like this proliferate.
If this becomes a problem.....how to rectify?
 
Some polyps you will never get rid off.
If you don't like it and you put it in there just get rid off it now.
