hello everyone. was wondering if i could keep these 2 wrasse in a 54 gallon corner tank with no problems?

Linespot Flasher Wrasse
Red Head Solon Fairy Wrasse

Tank is a bit small for the solon wrasse. There are some smaller fairies like pin tails or lubock’s.

Other options would be the smaller halichoeres wrasse species.

Which ever you choose would add the flasher first. My lubocki is a bit pugnacious to new wrasses and use an acclimation box.

8 line is much more like a fairy wrasse and might not be a good fit in that tank with another flasher. I would go with a small fairy like mentioned above. Pintails are readily available now, not too expensive and very beautiful!
How much are good male pintails going for? Last I saw it was $230ish.

I don't feel the tank is large enough for most of the species mentioned so far. I don't recommend flashers (Paracheilinus) for tanks less than 3 feet in length. Unfortunately the dimensions of the corner tank do not really offer great lateral swimming space. The tank is definitely too small for C. solorensis.
A Cirrhilabrus of the lubbocki or lunatus complex would be okay.

Provided you do not plan to keep any other wrasses, it could be. It's still a little bit tight on the tank space, though.

yea it would be the only wrasse i keep if i went with it. most likely will just go with it again if it will be ok with a sand goby, and midas blenny. only other fish i thought about adding was a longnose hawk

Do not see as often but a pink streaked is quite a bit smaller, still eats coral pests and has none of the attitude of the mystery wrasse. Usually around $40-$50 when i have seen them.

I got my Pintail for 70.00, but he did not survived. Quite a few of them are from the Philippine which bought the price down quite a bit since the early day.

I’ve never had a mystery wrasse that wasn’t nice. Hated any new wrasses that came after him

The red head wrasses Ive had were not very nice and in a small tank like yours Id bet against it

Agreed. Mine was nasty as well and every one I have seen at various LFS has an attitude towards at least one of the tankmates they were in with and it was usually any fish that was smaller than them. According to Live Aquaria these fish are supposed to be peaceful and are "often bullied." Not sure which Red Head's they are seeing but my experience has been the complete opposite. I would put them in the Semi-Aggressive category.
