Can you use kanaplex and general cure together into water not food mix

Yes. Just make sure to add O2 by using a powerhead aimed up at the surface so it is actively rippling the water surface.
The GC dose is: Dose, wait 5-7 days, do a 25% water change. Dose, wait 5-7 days, do a 25% water change. And then observe for 10-14 days.
Kanaplex, dose as directed on the package.

so add both in together at same time ok? iv got this goldrim tang" that has this like white like excess slime around gill and side fin" also on base of tail" he has lost colour a little " like much more white/yellow around head"
sometimes stops still near bottom of sand and flicks feck fins! Have noticed rubbing against stuff"
Not got white ick spots whot I can see!

I gave him freshwater dip about 3 weeks ago and put into QT and treated with Kanaplex twice for 6 days after dip! looked like it cleared up but came back this week so netted again and done freshwater dip and put into QT

Think its bacteria ?

Can you post a pic?

Bacterial infections are usually a "secondary" issue with something else as the primary cause.

The sloughing off could be Brook. Brook responds pretty good to a FW dip. Some have reported that repeated (daily) FW dips have completely removed the parasite.
