Can this MP10WES driver be saved?

Long story short, I got an MP10WES for a decent price ($120) off someone on craigslist. He didn't tell me the driver (White EcoSmart one) had issues. The buttons don't work on it, but the knob does. So the light flashes pink, but I can't change the mode, do a hard reset, etc. I've heard sometimes things get knocked out of place inside the driver, particularly the wireless module, so I'm wondering if anyone thinks it's worth opening it up and seeing if something is out of place, etc.?

The caveat is that I have no idea what to look for.

If all else fails, I'll try to source a QD driver and hopefully still come out below $175 on this thing. If you have one to sell, shoot me a PM. Thanks.

You can open it up to see if anything is mechanically broken, I’ve got one siting around, will message you.
