+1 to this.. very difficult to tell if baby aptasia or feather duster.It is very hard to tell from that photo but I would keep an eye on it. It could be a feather duster but it looks a little to me like it could be a baby aptasia, which you definitely do not want.
So it doesn’t really have a stalk to it. More like a hard tube it comes in and out of. So when it retracts only the little feather thing goes in the tube. Not in the same way that feather dusters do. Aptasia can retract and shrink up if disturbed just like most anemones. Sometimes when they shrink up it can be hard to even see them. Just keep an eye one it. if it starts to look like aptasia after a while and grow/spread on the snail, then take the snail out of the tank and brush the aptasia off to get rid of it.So it doesn’t really have a stalk to it.
