Can this tote good enough for a mini pond.

Currently I am keeping a mini pond with a HDX 27g and I want something bigger. I got the HdX 55g yesterday but realized it’s too narrow and I didn’t like it.

so I saw this sterilite 50g tote from Walmart for only $23 and it seems wider which what I like but don’t know how the quality is it to hold up water. If looks good enough in person I might get two to double it up.

I used those to move and they do crack pretty easily and you might want to make sure its fish safe plastic. Your idea makes me think that once my 16,000 gallon outdoor pond is done I'm building, that I'll use the 70 gallon pond my turtles are in for a mini reef system.

Yeah I like the hdx but the 55 just suck at the measurements. I might just grab the 38g, so I got 11g more hahhaha

You know you made me think of a small water garden I made upstairs that Ill try to post a picture of. I bought a couple giant plastic planters and have a small bulk head from one as a fountain to the other with my baby turtles in, fish and water plants Im growing till the pond is done. They were more money but they really hold the water well.
