I was wondering if I can get these fish on a 50 gallon 24 x 24 x 20 cubs. Here is the list of fish:
2 red stop light cardinal fish
2 ocellaris clownfish
1 royal gramma basslet
1 mandarin goby
1 cleaner shrimp
12 nassarius snails

Is that enough room for all the fish or will I need an upgrade?

In my opinion you should be fine with that stocking.

Welcome to R2R. :-)

I would mix it up on the snails a bit and get fewer, different snails clean up different things. Fish list looks good, add the mandarin last when the pods are abundant! What filtration will you run, HoB or sump?

Yeah I think you would be fine as well especially if your doing a sump system for filtration.

I'm running a sump

I'm gonna run a sump and what snails should I consider

I like a blend of trochus and cerinth snails, and astreas if you can find a good size one (nickel sized or larger so you don't have to flip them back over). If you have a sandy bottom a tiger conch works really well and adds a cool element to the tank! I recommend going slow with snails as you don't want them to starve :)

Okay thank you

Welcome to R2R! Reefcleaners.org has a real nice selection of snails, etc. The best part is they don't have fish in their systems so the chance of transmitting fish diseases is very small. They also have a calculator that suggests how many snails you need based on your tank size. But like Whipples said, suggest you calculate for a smaller tank, initially, about 1/3rd your true tank size. Cheers! Just noticed they have 15% off sale going on right now.

Okay thanks a lot for recommending the link and I will check it out.

As an FYI, the red stop light cardinals are very shy. I hardly ever saw mine. :(

That sucks. I planning on having all the rock work bywords the back with some rock around the middle to have coral and like three caves in hoping to make using a chisel. I should be able to see them and I'm sorry you couldn't see yours. Hopefully by next may I can show you some pictures of them.
