Can toadstool corals get brown slime disease?

Almost looks like cyano.

How old is your tank, and do you have cyano anywhere?

No cyano anywhere in the tank (knock on wood). The tank is 11 months old. I think what caused it is when i was doing a water change i accidentally squirt some of the water right at the toadstool in that spot pretty forcefully. maybe it's infected? a few days ago i tried peeling some off and it peeled off super easy.

Well, I’m glad you don’t have cyano!

I know they will shed and that they get ticked pretty easily.

Hopefully someone will chime in with a good answer.

yeah, it's the weirdest thing haha. doesn't seem to be affecting the actual tissue either I'm going to let this guy try and get rid of it on its own and if no luck within the week, guess I'll have to frag him up.
