Can u keep chalices with compacts?

I'd say so. Flow and stability are the more important factors, as chalices are usually deeper water, lower light corals. My question is why keep compacts when you can buy a 2 bulb t5 fixture for so cheap nowadays? On both of my tanks, all I keep are pretty much chalices. Bought a 2 bulb fixture for both and an led to give it some pop and they are all doing great. Not sure how they compare and what the par levels are but if you can afford a hundred, maybe look into switching. Gl.

+1 to all the above. Chalices are generally low light corals. You can keep the under brighter light but most get their best coloration under lower light. I only have 2 chalices that love the bright light. Like others have said stability is key. Also, a low flow rate is prefered for them. Also, for good growth spot feed weekly.
On a seperate not just like others have said upgrading to T5's is good choice as you'll likely have trouble finding PC lights in the near future, as they are losing their place in the hobby pretty quickly. Good luck, and hope to see some pictures soon!

You can keep almost anything under compacts depending on placement in the tank... they are truly underrated lights, just never had the spectrum options available with other systems... but for the cost of bulbs n whatnot every so often, I'd be looking at switching soon as well. As others have said, parameters and flow are more important than light.
