I can find out wat kind of agea is on my tank. What is the little white thing in my tank. can u tell me wat it is

Kinda hard to tell from the pic. The reddish/brownish stuff kinda looks like cyano or a diatom bloom. How old is the tank?

20 days old but we had the brown stuff in our tank last week and it started to to go away but that part is getting darker.

Sounds like a diatom bloom. It's a natural part of new tank cycle and will eventually go away on its own.

Definitely diatoms. Algae blenny or time will take care of that.

I thought diatoms were golden or brown. If its white specks I think it could be pods.

Yes, they clean the sand the glass and the rocks. I see them on my pencil urchin also. You have to look really close to see them. A huge outbreak is a sign of overfeeding the tank. When that happens just back down a bit on feedings, less food per feeding or fewer feedings.

Lol. Thats funny. Are they tiny white specks all over the glass? If you look close they are moving around?
