Can use use Tunze ATO with Kalkwasser

Will the kalkwasser fluid in an ATO have any long term negative effects on the dosing pump, when placed into the ATO? I am thinking of putting it a few inches from the bottom, but don't want to ruin my ATO pump over time with the solution.

Will be fine. Keep an eye on the anti siphon( if you have one) that the oriface is always clear. Kalk will clog it up almost immediately.

Replacement ATO pumps are fairly cheap and you will eventually ruin the pump but its still the best way to simplify Kalk dosing. I put velcro on the wiring going to the pump and velcro on the outside of the ATO container and suspend mine over a foot from the bottom for safety...it takes virtually no movement to stir that Kalk up off the bottom

The pumps will have shorter life, but they work until they don't. If you don't mind replacing them more often, then go for it - they are not expensive.
