Can various Symphyllia Corals be placed touching each other ?

I have a few different types of Symphyllia corals...both the agaricia type and the Radiens type which all look similar. Will these sting each other if they grow to the point of contacting one another?

Generally, it can attack dissimilar species of corals. Seeing as they are the same species and are generally non-aggressive, it shouldn't be an issue. Try and see. Report back. Caution, all corals can seem to get along for quite a while then, all of the sudden, engage in all-out war.

ok...I am back to report that it appears safe to allow different Symphyllia Corals to touch, just as Hammer Corals of various colors and styles all seem to get along. Strange that this information was not available on the internet as I didn't think of Symphyllia as uncommon corals. For those wondering, these days Symphyllia seem very hardy. In that past that seemed somewhat less true. I am a big fan of these due to being semi bullet proof and having some great colors
