can Vermetid Snails kill coral

We thought they were feather dusters and they ended up killing a Duncan frag that had several growing on its stem.

Pull the rock and just murder the snails before throwing into new tank. Use a sharp pick to crush them...you can't just cut the tubes. Every now and then one will pop up in the tank and ill straight cut the M'Fers.

They can irritate them and cause polyps to close, etc. If it continues long enough it can be detrimental to coral.

i guess ill not put it in then bought some indo live rock its crap arrived dry no coraline algae on it what so ever the last rock i ordered was insta cycle rock
