I have read somewhere that the tubing used on dosing pumps allow the ethanol in vodka to 'evaporate' through the pores in the tubing rendering the Vodka useless as a carbon source. Anyone ever had any experience with this?

It will be fine. While an incredibly small portion may diffuse out, we're talking much less than the vodka will vary from batch to batch over any reasonable time frame that the vodka is in the tubing of a doser.

Been dosing vodka through my dosing pump for over a year = zero issues.
