Can we save it?

Fragging it is really 50/50. I’ve only successfully saved a few things after fragging them, and most of the ones that TN’ed still, did so with portions that “looked” unaffected. I’d just leave it alone and let WWC take care of it

WWC said just to leave it and to not further stress it out. I was busy last night and didn't get a chance to get a photo. If it does recover will the flesh just grow over the skeleton?

Yeah it will. I had some tester frags of birds nest I put into super polluted water and the flesh was peeling away, moved it into better conditions and it eventually recovered and now growing well, growing over the once bare spots.

Good to know, I was worried it would need to grow new skeleton. I'll get a pic tonight and compare it with last friday.

Here's how it is tonight. Not worsening but not any better.

I had a Paletta Blue rtn the next day and they gave me a credit no problem. First time I’ve had to do that in all the live sales.

I got 10 frags from a local frag swap about 2 months ago, and about 7 of them STN'ed the day after I put them in my tank. I was running high alk at the time, and brought it down to a normal range over a few days. All have recovered, or are still recovering and the flesh is growing back over the exposed skeleton. All SPS, a few acros, millis, and montis. All I did was slowly get alk down to 8.6, and decreased lighting, and ramped back up over 2 weeks, even though all the frags are on a rack near the bottom of the tank. I was very tempted to cut and glue, but was convinced by others on the forum to let it ride out. I'm glad I did as everything is looking pretty normal now. If I had cut/glued the dead spots, the coral would be looking pretty deformed. I think if after the first day, the tissue narcosis has stopped, than leaving them alone and keeping things stable is likely best, at least from my experience.
