Can we see your SPS growth pics?

"photo-inhibition levels"

Does that mean too much light to stop growth?

I get 900+ at 6" under surface. It bounces around on the par meter because of the waves.

Yeah,. That's what I would double check with the guys on the lighting forum.

Based on the algae on your rocks, I'd still guess good growth is right around the corner whenever things balance out and that stuff starts to go away.

The algae is gone. That pic was Oct last year.

It’s a red planet I believe.
Don’t mention pink millies, I had an awesome Hot pink one from whitecorals that kicked the bucket two summers ago when the tank got up to 31C when I was away :/
My bad. Sorry about the loss

Any other tip and tricks for me from any of the success stories here?

My best tip is to keep your freaking hands out of the tank! I’ve always had the best growth times when I’ve been to busy to come up with “improvements” that I want to put in place...but not so busy so that I’ve skipped regular maintenance.

Corals simply thrive on stability.

I photograph and log the growth of my Acroporids. Here is a picture my Acropora hyacinthus after a heavy deforestation work on 28th September 2019 and its subsequent growth since then.

I love the store... I don’t like driving to Staugart though. Eurocorals has some nice Millis for sale now.
