Hello,
I had a rash of sudden coral die offs. Water chemistry was all within normal parameters with standard and Triton testing.
I later noticed my RODI system was not working with TDS of around 80 verified with a new meter.
All filters and membrane have been replaced (likely a defective membrane as it was not too old).
My question is can I and should I add prime directly to sump.
I have a system of 450 gallons and nothing currently seems to be dying.
TY for any advice

What do you expect to “remove” from the water by adding Prime?

It doesn't sound like you have a good reason to add it, so I wouldn't.
This is the correct answer. We are meant to believe that we should buy “super duper bad stuff in a tank removiciver” when in reality we just need patience.

I assumed the OP was concerned that chlorine/chloramines had made it through a compromised RO membrane, and Prime would be a legit fix for that.

Though fish should be swimming around like their gills are on fire if you had that problem.
