Hi there,

I'm doing a little research, and would love your feedback on two items:

1) How long a photoperiod you employ on your reef aquariums?

2) What temperature do you maintain your reef aquarium at?

Thanks in advance for your feedback!

Regards,

8 hours a day with all lights on and a total of 9 hours with actinics on (30 minutes before and after the mh). And I try to keep my temperature between 77-79.

1) actinic blue 10 hrs, all bulbs 6 hrs
2) 77-79
And I'm curious how long is your photoperiod and where you keep temp at UC? Thanks!

10 hours with 11 blue leds and 1 UV then 8 hours with 3 blues 1 UV and 8 10k white. I always have kept my tanks at 78, but my QT always hung out at 80, and after seeing the growth on the sps in there the new tank is set at 80 and so far I love it! Also just to throw it out there I cycled the tank at 84.
