I usually dip my corals, the only ones I haven't dipped were the first couple I got. I am planning on picking up a toadstool tomorrow. Is there anything I need to do differently in my dipping process? Typically I do a good rinse and blow off in clean tank water, a 5 minute dip in Bayer & tank water, then at least 2 rises. I will probably do an extra rinse or 2 because this is a soft coral and I'm not sure if they "soak up" anything. I am getting it from someone breaking down their tank, I don't know their reasons for the breaking down or their tank inhabitants and I don't want any unwelcome guests. I don't even know if they have any bad guys but better safe than sorry. TIA!
