Can you have too many Wrasses?

Assuming you have the right size tank (obviously you can’t put 10 fish in a 10g nano), can you have too many reef-safe Wrasses? They seem to be a very peaceful community fish. I wouldn’t want to have multiples that require a good pod population, but there are only a few that require that.

Others have had Wrasse dominant tanks without issue. I currently have four different Fairy Wrasse in my tank and they all hang out together. As long as you mix compatible wrasse and have the space for them, I’d say the skies the limit.

Yes and no. Lol. I have 8 wrasses in my tank but no matter what I add now, even through acclimation box for a week or 2. As soon as its released it's a gang mentality and they wont allow any more wrasses in my tank.

I have had the same experience where if i add anymore to the group they dont take or aggression is high. I find better to add multiple at the same time
