Can you home 2 sailfin tangs

Can you home 2 sailfin tangs in a 600g? I have had one for almost 2 yrs now and he is about 5". I just purchased a whole tank shut down and received another sailfin ( 2.5") . would it be safe to add him to my main display? Would they eventually get along?

hi ,would you be able to get out if problem ?
also try acclimation "containment" of some sort first,
think you have a 50% chance due to size difference,jmo, good luck.

I do have a trap so maybe ill stick it in there for a bit first and maybe let him out at feeding time. I will attach a photo when i get home for ya. Thanks

I think one is a red sea and the other is Asia pacific.

Sorry guys, I forgot to post some pictures.. i have attached a photo of the tank and I have also attached a photo with the 2 sailfins.

Im not sure what sailfins they are tho.

Yeah, both are Z. velifer and not Z. desjardini, I recommend getting one out if not both and rejoining them, they won’t live together in harmony as adults and will most likely instead fight constantly. Here’s a photo of an adult Desjardini sailfin:
