Hi. 4 month old tank with mostly soft corals and a couple of small lps doing well. Chaeto thriving in refugium which is lit 5hrs early morning til 9am. Couple of clowns, couple of gobies and CUC with three shrimp. PH ranges from 8.25 to 8.36. sg 1.025. Temp 26.3. No ammonia no nitrite: .5 nitrate .5phos. Dosing red sea KH: Ca: Mg. Ca 400. Mg 1200. KH 6.8-7.5. Been running stocked for 2 months after 2 month cycling with pure reef balance, fritzyme and live sand/rock. Do i need to panic or just add CUC and wait it out? Last few days really seeing a lot of hairy brown algae on glass and substrate. Ive cut my white led's out, added an hour to the fuge lamp, and thinking of having a blackout... conflicting advice re water changes etc. What you folk reckon? Thanks
