Hard to make out in that pic but possibly a Tube Worm IMO.
 
vermetid snail. Take a small screwdriver and break off at base and capture entire contents and discard.
Vermatid snails are dangerous to both corals and fish and the tank owners’ budget. These snails latch onto corals spongy surface and stunt their skeletal development and growth and they can suck the life out of corals and kill them
 
Do you ever see a mucus line or net coming out the opening, specially after feeding the tank?
Then it is clear indication that it is a Vermetid Snail as it is mentioned above.
