Can you ID this nuisance?

Has been present on my rocks for two years. PO4 and NO3 are consistently low, feedings are minimal and CUC is Astraea and Nassarius. Strongly considering hydrogen peroxide spray, boiling them in a pot, or replacing the rock altogether. Please help!

Chrystophytes.
Generally caused by ultra low phosphate like many dinos.

Common cures are manual removal and nutrient dosing as well as bacterial additives.

Ultra low nutrients cause good bacteria to die off. Those types problem organisms then take over.

So taking the rock out and scrubbing it with a toothbrush will suffice? Maybe buy a bottle of some bacteria?

Bacteria need food too is the problem.

So today I took out each rock and toothbrushed the snot out of it. Applied 3% h2o2 and let it sizzle for 5 minutes. I rinsed them with RODI water and put them back in the tank.

I am limiting white light and removing my sock filter temporarily. Opened up the skimmer a bit. I'm crossing my fingers.
