Can you identify this coral for me?

Got months ago in a frag pack. No names came with any of them and we’re new to corals so slowly learning. He seems to be doing well though. He’s grown a ton since we got him a about 4 months ago. TIA

This is a confirmed Duncan that isn’t fully extended.... pretty similar.

This appears to be Duncan, Check for high salinity (main reason duncans will do this)

Yes... sometimes corals can become “shy” if water conditions are not favorable.

Our fish guy, who’s owned his own business for 30 years told us we wanted our salinity around there....is that too low or high? We are dealing with Dino’s right now but have them pretty well under control right now. Waiting on our new UV tomorrow and a different kind of bacteria treatment.

Duncans should be full and full of polyps. They are shrunken and likely due to the high salinity *should be 1.025 and moderate water flow in their vicinity)

It was just one small polyp when we got him in November so I thought he was growing quite well. We have lowered salinity and will see if we can pop him loose from the rock he’s glued to in order to get him better flow. The flow jets are behind and it’s a massive collection of rocks and he’s on the front side under a slight ledge so really no way to give him more flow where he is.
