I snapped a picture before it slid into a hole. Moves like a snail. Looks like roundish body with a flat tail and antenna, a couple of longer ones and shorter ones all around. Thought they could be legs. Could not tell any color because actinic lights were on. When I first saw it, it appeared to be feeding on maybe some algae on the rock. Looked up critters and did not see a match. Did not see any others anywhere else in tank. Wish the picture was better. Next time I will try to hit the white lights and take a picture of it. Is it a friend or foe? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

It came out again! White(ish) with some darkening like grey.

The first photo threw me for a loop, but the pics in your second post look like a Stomatella snail. A relatively common hitchhiker, they come in a lot of colors, and will knock back algae for you. Great little cleanup crew!

Thank you! I was doing some more research and it was looking like it could be a Stomatella snail. Glad to see confirmation of that from you guys. It's a friend so l am totally good with it. Thanks again for the help.

I have a few of these. I don't know what they're name is, but they are great algae eaters! They haven't bothered my corals either.
