So have a question, recently in my old tank had gotten ich. I removed all my fish and qt them with copper for 40 days and dropped them into a recently built new tank. Currently I am coming up to the 75 day mark on my old tank and going to move the corals and inverts over to the new system and tear down the old system. However I am a little nervous and was just wondering besides qt'ing invert's can you actually medicate them or fresh water dip them?

Thanks,

in General no. Especially corals.

Shrimp and some other can tolerate antibiotics but those won’t affect ich. 75 days should be pretty safe as long as there was no cross contamination.

No meds for inverts. I have freshwater dipped snails and hermits without ill side effects. But those are the only two inverts I have dipped myself.
