I noticed a few days ago that the Red Sea Calcium and Magnesium reagents are both Sodium Hydroxide and look very similar, except one is for magnesium and one is for calcium. I hardly use magnesium and I’m running low on calcium reagent. Could I just use the magnesium reagent I have for calcium?

I would not

you could always do a test back to back with each sodium hydroxide. If the results are the same, you’ve got your answer.
