Can you please help identify the disease?

I got this flame angel couple of days back. It was good for couple of days but now it is starting to show some sluggishness. Please help to identify what this could be.

Looks to me like brook or velvet but velvet would kill faster. If it is brook, paraguard is the right medicine (or last resort rally pro if you absolutely can't make a qt). If it is velvet, you need to do copper asap.

The reason why I didn't say velvet 100% is the fact the angel is still alive.

This may very well be brooklynella. I thought maybe velvet but the fins appear clear and if velvet , the fish would be hanging at the tank surface.
Other Velvet symptoms would be :
- Scratching body against hard objects
- Fish is lethargic
- Loss of appetite and weight loss
- Rapid, labored breathing
- Fins clamped against the body

With brook, the fishs' colors fade and heavy slime develops on its body as shown. Lesions may appear on skin as well as signs of bacterial issues.

Is fish eating ?
Is fish hanging near surface?
How is breathing rate- Moderate or Rapid?

With either case, at times a freshwater dip with tap water the same temp as display tank will offer temporarily relief. . However if fish is breathing rapidly, A dip may further stress the fish out
Treatment will be in a separate tank using either quick cure or Ruby Rally Pro. Ruby takes a little longer and initial treatment generally takes 2-3 days to really start going to work.

Fish can get brook without presence of clowns as brook is a ciliated bean shaped protozoan affecting clowns, tangs, angels and wrasses

I the sugary coating reminds me of velvet but again, fish die from this within a day so it would be suprising if the whole tank was not having issues and that a fish would show symptoms for days.

Again, if it is brook, paraguard and a fallow period are best, but ruby reef rally pro may or may not work but is safe in tank (things that are reef safe are often parasite safe too).

No, it is not eating. I tried feeding it live brine shrimp as well. No luck but it is pecking the algae on the glass.

Prazipro doesn't do anything for these diseases.

I agree, if this was velvet the key symptom would be gasping/rapid breathing. Brook seems the most likely cause….

It doesn't appear to be breathing too quickly.

Can you clarify - was the fish eating well for you and then it stopped feeding, or has it not fed well from the start?

Agree with everything said - except - I'm not sure you can say velvet or not based on 'time'. Velvet can kill quickly - and fish can survive velvet (i.e. get better without treatment).
