Gonna have to take care of it and see what it expands to be. I really don’t have any pics of it but I picked it out so it must have looked cool to me lol I’m working on getting my water nice and steady. I noticed at night with no light, it starts to come out a little more. It's a non photosynthetic coral but hard to id exactly. Looks too big to be a sun and it's most likely a fathead dendrophyllia but ones that's been bashed up a little. They need direct feeding and lots of food to do well.
Cool that’s an awesome tip to spit feed. Gonna give it a try!Place it in a low light area it will help + some TLC & direct feeding. You can used a water bottle just cut the bottom off and get a turkey baster. Cover the corals w/ the bottle & insert food just enough that it will be eaten in a few minutes best way to spot feed. Don't forget your weekly partial water changes replenishing minerals & supplements sometimes that's all corals need instead of all the advance dosing.
