Can you plug an EB832 into a powerstrip?

I would believe so. I have my two on an extension cord as they dont reach my outlet.

As long as you are mindful of total loads, yes.

Yes, but I would limit it to one outlet on the surge protector for load reasons.

Neptune powerbars do not have built in surge protector.

This may or may not be an issue, but it's always good to think about.

The EB832 has a 15A/1500W total capacity, (7A per outlet, 30W per DC24 outlet with a combined 100W total for all DC24 & 1link outlets) Most surge-protector power bars have a 15A breaker. If you have your equipment plugged into a outlet on a 15A circuit then that's the most current you can draw regardless. If you're on a 20A circuit it is possible you could be pulling more than 15A between two EB832's.

True. My particular response to using one outlet is from seeing customers plug into whatever open outlet there is possible, regardless of load, to prevent the octopus of fire hazard.

Yeah, you're right - a lot of people don't think about that and figure if they have an open outlet it's fair game.
