I'm mainly QTing corals and chaeto to eliminate any chances of getting ich or velvet into my tank. Can I QT both chaeto and coral in one tank?

So you are keeping the new plants and corals out of the dt for 77 days (or something like that?) My understanding is ich and velvet need a host or else they can't survive. You should be ok if that is all you have in the qt.

@Humblefish (thoughts?)

45 days at 81 degrees is also safe from what I've heard
