So I’m a inpatient person. (This hobby been making me work on that)
But Want to know people thoughts on qt multiple fish at a time I have a 55gallon that’s been running for 8 months.

Certainly, depends on the size of the fish and the filter capacity of the tank as to how many. What's your QT protocol?

I don’t have a set guide line. I’ve done just observation. I’ve tried the 3 meds from YouTube. I only down 3 qt so far

My 55 did house 6 smaller fish at one point until I upgraded to the 125 gallon. And never took down the 55. So I feel the filter and beneficial bacteria is there. But I’d like to get a diamond goby maybe a pink fairy wrasse and maybe one more fish to keep it a odd number to keep them from bullying each other. And spread out any chance of aggression if possible

Observation is certainly a type of QT that lot's of people do. With some delicate fish I do a more passive QT like observation with treatment for flukes/parasites later on once their eating.

If observation alone is your method it will teach you patience. I wouldn't QT for less than 8 weeks if I was going observation alone. It's not unheard of to take that long for indolent diseases to become recognizable, especially in fish with thick mucous layers like wrasses.

I have just QT'ed 2 tangs and 3 wrasses in a 40 with no problem, I would add some biospera or something similar before I put the fish in the 55.

I just got done with my 2 week TTM with 2 prazzi pro treatments and some metroplex feedings. 2 wrassses and a flame angel. 10 gallon qt. Worked just fine. Now they are all best of buddies in the big tank with the rest of the party

Im just not a copper kinda person. And I cant wait either. 2weeks is my max wait time , unless they are sick. His method is a good one I just could not do it. Kinda like algae control. I have algae and I dont worry about it.

I grew tired of problems with copper until the Hanna checker came out. With copper power and the checker, copper is my easy method now.
