Can you raise brine shrimp using fish food?

Hello. Can I use fish flakes or frozen food to raise brine shrimp?

Normally very small micro foods are used to feed/enrich brine shrimp.

Someone else may have a different experience, but IME I think you would be better off purchasing a powdered food from @Reef Nutrition.

I've raised them before and used a hard boiled egg yolk. Just used a toothpick and swirled it around. Now I use Plankton. I've tried flake food to powder seemed to spoil the water faster. They didn't seem to dissolve enough to be filter fed.
