New to hobby. Setting up first tank. 90 gallons. CPR backpack skimmer, two 1150 Hydor circulation pumps. Canister filter for chemical filter. 50 lbs dry live rock, 30 lbs Tonga Branch dry live rock, 60 lbs live sand, and one 10 lb cured live rock.

2 weeks in...waiting for cycle to finish, etc. No fish or corals.

Have spotted growth in my tank though. Anyone know what these are? Good? Bad?

1. The white hairy things.
2. The off white thing next to the hairy things
3. The moldy looking stuff

Thanks!

None of it was there originally.... I feel like it has grown but maybe it just moistened up and came unstuck? I dunno? Do you think it's anything bad?

Do nanareefer, a good thing? Like headed the right direction? And all they all sponges? Certain types? Just curious now.

Yes, a good thing. They come in many forms. Most won't survive long term in our tanks. I don't know exact names of all but pics 3-4 look to be Pineapple Sponge.
